# Terms and Conditions

_Last updated: 2026-08-30_

By downloading, installing, or using Solframe Studio ("the Software"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the Software.

## 1. License

The Software is free and open-source, released under the **GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0)**. See [LICENSE](LICENSE) for the full text. You may use, study, modify, and redistribute the Software subject to that license.

## 2. No Warranty

The Software is provided **"AS IS"**, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The author does not guarantee the Software will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

## 3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Software — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or hardware damage — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

## 4. AI-Generated Content & Uncensored Models

The Software runs local AI models — including image-generation models and **uncensored large language models** — entirely on your own hardware. These models can produce content that is inaccurate, offensive, biased, or otherwise unsuitable for some audiences or purposes.

**You use uncensored models entirely at your own risk.** You are solely responsible for:

- any content you generate, publish, or distribute using the Software;
- ensuring your use of the Software and any generated content complies with applicable local, national, and international laws; and
- any consequences arising from the content you choose to generate or share.

The author does not endorse, monitor, or take responsibility for content generated by end users.

## 5. Third-Party Components

The Software bundles or interoperates with third-party open-source components, including `stable-diffusion.cpp` and `llama.cpp`, and is designed to run model weights you separately download or provide. Those components and models are governed by their own licenses and terms, which you are responsible for reviewing and complying with.

## 6. Privacy

The Software is designed to run 100% locally and does not transmit telemetry, usage data, or generated content to the author or any third party. This does not extend to any external services or model sources you choose to connect to or download from (e.g. Hugging Face) — those are governed by their own respective terms and privacy policies.

## 7. No Support Obligation

The Software is provided on a best-effort, community basis. The author is under no obligation to provide support, updates, bug fixes, or maintenance.

## 8. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

## 9. Contact

Questions can be raised via [GitHub Issues](https://github.com/Protik1810/Solframe-Studio/issues) on the project repository.
